The Wyld Blue of Aspen – Sabrina Devine

Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of going to Aspen. I was there for two reasons, one of which is that it’s a beautiful place to visit, winter or summer, and the mountains and rusticness of the area immediately mellow me out, although most will say living in Florida already does that for its residents. The second reason for going is that I wanted to not only see Aspen again, but some of the thirty-six towns that surround the municipality, as I’m looking to incorporate at least some into a future novel, although I hadn’t settled on whether that would be a Juraj Adamik or Gunther Wayan manuscript as the plot I was envisioning is suitable for both—the mountains, weather, and history of the area providing an interesting backdrop. While there, I spoke with Sabrina Devine, whose photo is above. Sabrina works at Wyld Blue (wyldblue.com), a place my wife and I frequented daily, where she always greeted us in a friendly voice and provided the background on many of the store’s items. During these engagements, she also gave me wonderful insights into the area, which I found extremely helpful for the storyline I was creating. Thank you Sabrina for being a wonderful ambassador for your store and giving me better visibility into Aspen and its residents.
